Kahlid Mohammed anxious to keep positive momentum in ARDL Round 4

DOHA, Qatar – Currently sitting third in Arabian Drag Racing League Championship points after three of eight events, Bahrain 1 Pro Nitrous driver Kahlid Mohammed is anxious to keep his positive momentum and move up the ladder this week in Round 4 competition at Qatar Racing Club at Doha.

“We are working hard to do something good in this race,” Mr. Mohammed said. “We have made some small changes in our setup, and we will test them tomorrow to get ready for the race.

In his first three outings, he has had one win and two semifinal finishes, putting him less than three round-wins out of first place with five events left.

“I was actually going to try to skip this race, but since I am currently number three in the points, I don’t want to not race and give that up,” he said.

The weather forecast for this week is sunny with temperatures in the mid-70’s – perfect for drag racing.

“It’s cooled down a little more, and the weather is beautiful, so we should see some really great drag racing.

“We’re all going to work hard to keep our number three spot and try to move up,” Mr. Mohammed said.

Qualifying is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. local time Thursday, January 6 and conclude Friday beginning at 2 p.m. followed by three rounds of eliminations.
